Harts N Crafts opened in September 2002 as a college boutique catering to girls who love bright colors and funky patterns. After outgrowing our initial location in 2006, we moved into a charming, 1950s house near Baylor University’s campus at 1125 S. 8th. With over 2000 square feet of display space, HNC is set up much like an ordinary home. We have a kitchen full of dishes, a bathroom stocked with toiletries, and a whimsical bedroom piled high with pillows, frames, and home décor. But HNC is anything but ordinary.
Bright colors, polka dots and stripes, shiny objects, modge podge, hot glue, inspirational quotes, acrylic paint and fanciful ribbons are a few of our favorite things. At HNC, we have the desire to talk about, share, and promote creativity all day, everyday. We want to show the world how beautiful life is with a little creativity and a lot of love.
Harts N Crafts is an outlet for bold colors and creative self-expression. Over 50% of our products are made in-house and virtually anything one thinks up can be turned into a work of art in a week or two. Customers are encouraged to place custom orders, coordinating colors and patterns to their existing décor and adding quotes, sayings, song lyrics or bible verses to suit their taste. We warmly welcome everyone to sit down and paint with us and offer a wide selection of unfinished products begging for artistic flare.
